Energy Bills Relief Scheme Update: 21st September 2022

Following the announcement of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme introduced by Government on 8 September, there has now been further guidance published for businesses relating to the scheme.

After ongoing discussions with energy suppliers about delivery of the scheme, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have today provided confirmation that businesses will receive much needed support this winter through a p/KWh discount on their business energy bills.

For further information on the scheme, visit our latest TalkPower blog or register for one of our upcoming webinars. For the full guidance recently published by BEIS, please visit the Government website.

Helping to protect our customers

EDF takes fraud and crime seriously and we want to do as much as we can to help protect our customers.

Fraudsters use scam or phishing emails and phone calls to try to steal your information. Emails will often look like they’re from EDF, and they’ll ask you for secure data or get you to visit a fake website.

Being aware of potential threats is the first step in protecting yourself against fraud.
