Top 10 cheapest electric cars to buy in 2022

By Jake Forrest | Posted May 16, 2022

Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more affordable each year. As more and more EVs enter the market each year, drivers are increasingly spoilt for choice. This should be helped by the UK Government's plans to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030.

The lower running costs and environmental benefits of EVs, over petrol or diesel cars, are the main reasons that drivers make the change. The initial costs shouldn't put you off.

So, we've put together this handy list of the top ten cheapest EVs on the market - all under £35,000 - based on your needs.

If you've already decided to use your electric car, leasing could be a great option. We're offering electric cars at great prices.
