I haven't had a Warm Home Discount letter from the government (I live in Scotland)

Were you, or your partner, getting the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit (PCGC) on 24 August 2025?

If so, the government will have sent you a Warm Home Discount letter by the end of December 2025. The letter told you if you'd get your rebate automatically, or what action you needed to take to get it.

You can call the government's Warm Home Discount helpline if you think you are eligible but you didn't get a letter. You'll be able to find this number on the government's Warm Home Discount page. 

Please note the Warm Home Discount helpline closed on 28 February 2026. 

Don't get the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit?

You'll need to apply for the Warm Home Discount - Broader Group Scotland rebate every year.
