People make an organisation tick, and you’ll deliver the tools our people need to perform at their very best.
From day one I was encouraged to seek out development opportunities and I’ve had access to LinkedIn Learning which I’ve used for enhancing my soft skills. I’ve been included in online conferences about UiPath and I also attended Microsoft Ignite in London. For all of them, my team supported me and helped organise everything.

What projects could I work on at EDF?

LinkedIn Learning Pathway for Recruitment
Our Recruitment Delivery and People Development teams have been working in collaboration to create an exciting new LinkedIn Learning pathway and interactive Learn Live sessions for EDF’s hiring managers.
Recruitment Project Manager, Julie Mitchell, comments: “We’ve been inspired to develop a LinkedIn Learning recruitment pathway because it’s accessible to all hiring managers and it gives them the option to tap into development at their own pace. We’ve complemented this approach with interactive sessions delivered by subject matter experts on topics such as attraction, selection and offers – recognising there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to learning.”

Developing automation within HR
Our Employee Services (ES) HR team manages a range of projects involving the implementation and development of automation – in 2020 alone we have automated 18 ES processes, saving over 650 hours of work.
We’ve also been involved in developing a new Intranet for HR information, expanded the use of DocuSign, implemented Microsoft Teams as a communications tool, developed HR systems user guides and helped undertake HR system improvements.
