Please be aware our contact centres are significantly affected by the current situation, with some closed and others operating in a much reduced capacity.
We ask you to please help us help those who need it most by managing your account online or through the app whenever possible.

Register for MyAccount

It's quick and easy to register. You’ll need your EDF account number handy, which you can find on your latest bill or statement. Once you've registered you can:

Download the EDF mobile app

Manage your energy on the go. Just download the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Our app is only available for customers who are credit customers. With the app you can:

  • Use biometrics to log in to your account simply and securely;
  • Check your account balances, bills, payment history, energy use and tariff information;
  • Get updates and reminders – if it’s time to pay or send a meter reading;
  • Make payments in an instant, and store details for up to five cards;
  • Send us meter readings or take a photo of your meter;
  • Switch easily between your different accounts or properties;
  • Get help fast: check our FAQs or send us a message by WhatsApp or SMS.

Gas emergencies

24-hour gas emergency services 0800 111 999(1)

If you smell gas, think you have a gas leak or have any concerns regarding carbon monoxide, immediately open all windows and doors and extinguish any naked flames including cigarettes, then call the Gas Emergency Services free on 0800 111 999(1). This is a national number and is available to all areas.

Electrical emergencies

Your electricity network distributor looks after your electricity supply. If there’s an electrical emergency or power outage at your home, simply call 105 from your mobile or landline and the telephone service will automatically direct you to the network distributor's emergency number for your area.
