Cavity wall insulation is quick and easy to install in suitable homes.
It fills the gaps in your walls and keeps your house warm for less.
Why should I use cavity insulation in my home?
Cavity wall insulation can be quickly installed with very little fuss and there are many benefits.
Reduce the amount of heat lost from your home and save energy.
Lower your bills
Heat your home for less saving on your energy bills.
Improve your EPC rating
Your EPC rating shows how much your building costs to heat and light and how you can make it more energy efficient. Insulation makes a huge difference to your EPC rating.
Using less energy means you'll be living in a more environmentally-friendly way.
How does cavity wall insulation work?
To start we need to find out if your home is suitable for cavity wall insulation. To assess this we drill small holes in your outside walls. If it's suitable for your property, the cavity between the inner and outer walls is then filled with insulating material. The holes in the brickwork are then filled in again.
The installation process takes just a few hours and should come with a Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) guarantee.
Cavity wall insulation is suitable for your home if:
Your walls are in good condition
Your home is less than three storeys high
The cavity is at least 50mm wide
There are no issues with rain or high water penetration.
