Why insulate your home's cavity walls?

  • If your home was built from 1920 onwards, it's likely to have cavity walls
  • By insulating this gap, you can reduce the amount of heat lost and save money off your heating bills
  • Cavity wall insulation is quick to install and requires only minimal disruption

Why should I use cavity insulation in my home?

Cavity wall insulation can be quickly installed with very little fuss and there are many benefits.

  • Save energy

Reduce the amount of heat lost from your home and save energy.

  • Lower your bills

Heat your home for less saving on your energy bills.

  • Improve your EPC rating

Your EPC rating shows how much your building costs to heat and light and how you can make it more energy efficient. Insulation makes a huge difference to your EPC rating.

  • Getting greener

Using less energy means you'll be living in a more environmentally-friendly way.

How does cavity wall insulation work?

To start we need to find out if your home is suitable for cavity wall insulation. To assess this we drill small holes in your outside walls. If it's suitable for your property, the cavity between the inner and outer walls is then filled with insulating material. The holes in the brickwork are then filled in again.

The installation process takes just a few hours and should come with a Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) guarantee.
