How do I pay my final energy bill when I move home (I pay by Direct Debit)?
Your final bill will take care of itself – as long as you don't cancel your Direct Debit.
How it works:
- We automatically take your final payment within 14 days of your final bill
- Or we automatically refund any credit within three working days of your bill
- We then remove your bank details from our records
If you're taking us with you to your new home, we'll help you set up a new Direct Debit for your new home.
What happens if you cancel your Direct Debit?
You'll need to remember to make a payment within 14 days of getting your final bill.
If your account is in credit, we'll send your refund by cheque within seven working days of your final bill – as long as we have a forwarding address.
