It'll take us a few days to add your meter reading to our records – but you don't need to do a thing. We'll get in touch if we need to check anything.

We're going to backdate your meter reading to 31 March 2022. This means all the energy you've used up until today's meter reading will be charged at you old prices if you're on a variable tariff.

 

Will I get a bill?

I pay by Budget Direct Debit
You won't normally get a bill, unless we asked you for the meter reading because your next bill is due.

I pay by Direct Debit Whole Amount
You won't normally get a bill – and your balance won't be updated in MyAccount – unless we asked you for the meter reading because your next bill is due.

I pay by cash, card or cheque
You won't get a bill – and your balance won't be updated in MyAccount – unless we asked you for the meter reading because your next bill is due.
