Businesses’ five favourite energy heroes

Today we’re pleased to name five of the most customer focused people working in the UK’s energy consultancies.

They’ve been nominated by their customers and judged anonymously by a panel of professional energy buyers to be shortlisted for the Unsung Hero award that EDF Energy is sponsoring at TELCA 2014. Our congratulations go out to:

1. Jess Snashfold – Energy and Carbon Management

2. Lyn Barnes – Select Energy

3. Phil Bennett – Auditel Leeds

4. Sam Frisby – Blue Castle Energy

5. Fiona Shorrick – Focus Assured

Recognition for a job well done matters

In EDF Energy we have a few ways of recognising people who ‘go above and beyond’ for their customers and colleagues. We do it because the effort made by employees serving customers has a major impact on the level of trust our customers have in our company.

We decided to sponsor this award to shine a light on those energy consultancy employees who are doing great things for customers. After all, many of our business customers use energy consultants and it’s important that we work well together to deliver the high quality service our customers deserve.

The large number of nominations for this award shows there are many people doing a great job and customers appreciate their efforts. If you were one of them, well done. But only five people could make it on to the shortlist. Good luck to each of them. We look forward to announcing the winner on 19 June at TELCA 2014.
