The government’s plan to ban the sale of new petrol or diesel vehicles from 2040 has put electric vehicles (EVs) firmly in the spotlight. We sat down with Philip Valarino, the EV lead at EDF Energy, to get the lowdown and find out what the future holds for this exciting technology.
