What are the different ways I can pay for my energy?

Here's a quick guide to the different ways you can pay for your energy at EDF:

Budget Direct Debit (regular monthly payments): Pay your bills automatically – payments come straight out your bank every month; you spread your payments evenly over the year

Direct Debit Whole Amount (exact monthly payments): Pay your bills automatically – payments come straight out your bank every month; you pay for the exact amount of energy you use each month

Card, Cash or Cheque: Get a bill every month – and make a payment within 14 days

Smart Pay As You Go: Pay for your energy up front via our app, online, phone or in store; choose when and how much to add to your smart meter each time

Prepayment (not smart): Pay for your energy up front in store; choose when and how much to add to your traditional prepayment meter each time

You won't get all of the options below when you change the way you pay - the options you get will depend on the type of meter you have and your current circumstances.
