Moving is already a stressful and busy time, so we want to make it as easy and simple for you as we can. Whether you are simply moving in or out of a premises, or need us to supply energy to a new property, we're here to help.

Moving into new premises

Moving into new premises

If we don't currently supply your new premises, but you’d like us to:

  • Choose from our range of tariffs including New Start, which is especially designed for business movers and start ups
  • Once you've selected your tariff, find the meter that is right for you
  • Then call our dedicated Business Moves team to set up your account

If you're already with us and you're moving to another property, and you have at least 5 months remaining on your existing contract, we may be able to transfer it with you to your new property. To make sure it's still the right fit, discuss your meter type and location with one of our SME Business Moves advisers.

Moving out of your premises

To ensure you won’t be charged any extra energy usage after you have moved out, please contact our dedicated Business Movers team once you know your moving date.

Please provide a final meter reading once you have moved out, or when your lease agreement ends and you are no longer responsible for the property. We will then organise to send a final bill to a forwarding address and refund your account if there is credit once we close your account. Remember, if you're simply moving locations you may be able to take your contract with you.

Installing a new meter

If you want to install a new electricity meter at a newly built premise, please contact our Developer Services team between 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday at 0800 068 8257(1)
