Torness Station Director: Paul Winkle
Having graduated from Glasgow University in 1988, Paul Winkle began his early career at GEC - Alstom in Rugby.

He joined British Energy in March 1996 as a Mechanical Engineer based at Peel Park. Within a few years he became a Senior Engineer before being appointed as the Maintenance Manager at Torness power station in April 2002.

Paul was promoted to Plant Manager in March 2006, first at Hunterston B power station before moving back to Torness in October 2006.

Paul was appointed as Station Director of Heysham 2 in September 2008, before returning to Torness as Station Director in July 2009.
