Posted January 14, 2025
  • Which? Trusted Traders has endorsed EDF Heat Pumps as a Trusted Trader for air source heat pump installations.
  • To celebrate the accreditation, EDF is offering customers £500 off new air source heat pump installations for a limited time this winter[1].
  • With its new Heat Pump Promise, EDF is also guaranteeing all heat pump installations will keep homes warm, and if it doesn't perform as promised, customers will receive a full refund[2]

EDF Heat Pumps has been endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader for its air source heat pump installation services.

Following an evaluation of the installer’s services, customer satisfaction and business practices, Which? Trusted Traders has today listed EDF Heat Pumps as an approved service. The endorsement recognises the installer has met the high standards for quality, reliability, and customer service, and gives consumers confidence with genuine, moderator-verified customer reviews on the EDF Heat Pumps profile page.

To celebrate the accreditation, EDF is offering £500 off all air source heat pump installations for the first 50 customers that sign up before 12th February 2025[1]

The supplier has also extended its Heat Pump and Power Tracker bundle, available via EDF Heat Pumps, which offers customers ‘free electricity’ for the month of December 2025 alongside a 7-year warranty and service package. With savings of at least £1,500, the bundle is available to all customers that sign up to install an Ideal Heating heat pump with EDF Heat Pumps before 28th February 2025.

The discount will mean a complete heat pump system that’s installed to suit each property’s individual requirements now starts from as low as £4,680 when applying the Boiler Upgrade Scheme Grant. Finance options are also available to help customers spread the cost.

As part of its commitment to driving the UK’s transition to low-carbon living, EDF Heat Pumps is also promising all heat pump installations will keep customers’ homes warm. If the heat pump doesn’t perform as promised, customers will receive their money back.

When a customer purchases an air source heat pump, EDF Heat Pumps will visit the property to assess it, advise on the available air source heat pump options, and determine the achievable temperatures for the home. The Heat Pump Promise guarantees EDF Heat Pumps customers that the air source heat pump will meet the agreed-upon heating temperatures for one year from installation, or the customer will receive a full refund[2].

EDF Heat Pumps is the new identity for Clacton based CB Heating, which is one of the UK’s leading MCS-certified air source heat pump installers. In 2023 the company was acquired by EDF, the UK’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity, and currently holds over 20 years’ experience installing air source heat pumps across the UK.
