HPIN and City Plumbing announce strategic partnership to encourage more plumbers and heating engineers to install heat pumps
The Heat Pump Installer Network (HPIN) has announced a new partnership with City Plumbing, one of the UK’s leading plumbing, heating, and electrical suppliers, to make installing heat pumps easier and more accessible for plumbing and heating engineers.
The partnership gives City Plumbing customers access to the HPIN network and HPIN’s new free-to-use MCS umbrella scheme HPIN Direct, which removes the need for installers to obtain and pay for their own MCS accreditation.
With exclusive heat pump bundle pricing for City Plumbing’s customers, free training and support and a range of other benefits, HPIN Direct streamlines MCS-certified heat pump installations from start to finish. From training and support to compliance and pricing, HPIN and HPIN Direct provides a complete installer solution for heat pumps, and it’s free of charge for installers.
With more engineers and plumbers looking to install heat pumps and needing access to MCS accreditations and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, HPIN fills a gap in the market that will help the UK meet its heat pump installation targets.
“City Plumbing is delighted to formalise a partnership with HPIN and EDF Heat Pumps. This partnership gives City Plumbing customers better access to one of the most well established and professionally operated MCS heat pump umbrella services – a great option for our customers to make their business stronger,” said Jez Climas, Head of Business Development – ASHP at City Plumbing.
“I’m really excited with this partnership which gives thousands of boiler installers access to a market they couldn’t reach before with no need to join MCS or pay an umbrella scheme. With our partnership, HPIN and City Plumbing bring together solutions, experience and value for City’s customers including transparent, simple bundle pricing,” said Clayton Browne, Managing Director, HPIN & EDF Heat Pumps
