Support the future of energy use in the UK and get a free EV Charger

The future of energy use in the UK is set for a dynamic shift as the number of electric vehicles (EVs) on the road continues to rise in readiness for the Government’s 2040 EV target.

EVs are becoming a realistic choice for many drivers, with great technology, lower fuel costs and fewer congestion charges and taxes. As more people opt for an EV, the grid needs to be capable of supporting this transition.

About the trial

We’re looking for 100 electric vehicle owners to sign up to our EV trial – SMART Charge with SMILY.

As part of the trial, you’ll get a free fully installed smart EV charger whilst helping us to trial the cutting edge of technology in managing energy use between the electricity grid and your EV.

Plus, you will also get a £250 voucher to spend on smart home tech from our Smart Home store or up to £250 credit off your energy bill(1).

This trial is sponsored by the UK government's Department for Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), to test flexible load management which will be used to manage energy consumption and support grid capacity as we transition towards our zero emissions target of 2050.
