How and when is the Warm Home Discount paid (I have a smart PAYG meter)?

You'll get your £150 rebate from the company who was supplying your electricity on 24 August 2025.

If we supplied your electricity on that date, we'll add £150 credit to your smart PAYG meter between October 2025 and March 2026.

If you want your rebate added to your gas meter, please call 0333 006 9950(1) before we add it to your electricity meter.

 

Has your £150 credit gone missing?

We'll let you know when we've attempted to add the rebate to your PAYG meter. If your credit doesn't reach your meter soon after that, we'll send you a text with your unique transaction reference number (UTRN). You can use this to add your credit manually.
