If you’re already collecting Nectar points with EDF Energy:
1. Can I still claim my points?
Yes. Up to 31 December 2010 points will still be able to be claimed. Any points you have collected with EDF Energy up to 31 December 2010 will stay on your account.
2. How do I claim my points?
Claiming is easy, visit: www.edfenergy.com/claimyourpoints
You only need to provide one business electricity number to claim points across all your accounts. Your claim will automatically activate all of your energy accounts that are linked to your Nectar card.
3. How will I know if my claim has been activated?
You will receive an email or letter from us confirming your claim – this will be based on the account number provided. Please check all your bills to ensure your claim status.
4. What happens if I don’t claim my points in time?
Unfortunately by 31 December 2010 any unclaimed points will be lost.
5. I am on your Business Read & Reward Scheme, will I still get Nectar points for my meter readings?
Unfortunately not. Due to EDF Energy leaving the Nectar scheme we will no longer giving Nectar points for meter readings. However, we will still send you your meter read reminders in exactly the same way to ensure that you get accurate bills.
6. Why is EDF Energy exiting the Nectar Business Scheme?
We have listened to our customers and we’re going to focus on investing in new ways to reward you and your business.
7. What changes will I see?
From next year you will no longer receive Nectar points from us. Also, after 31 December 2010 you will no longer see any Nectar related information on your bill.
Nectar registered customers will continue to receive communication directly from Nectar after this time. This change does not affect your Nectar card and you can continue to collect and spend points with other participating sponsors.
8. What are you offering instead of Nectar Business?
We are currently looking at new ways to reward you and your business. We’ll be in touch soon to let you know what we’ve got lined up. We would love to tell you more about our exciting offers now, but our contract with Nectar means we can’t until next year.

9. Can I still register my Nectar card?
No. Unfortunately as we are withdrawing from the scheme we can’t register any new cards.
