Additional help for businesses this winter

There is additional support this winter for some business customers. This means any customers identified as Qualifying Financially Disadvantaged Customers based on the government guidance will also benefit from a further reduction on their energy bills.

The great news is you don't have to apply for this additional discount, it will be applied automatically to your unit rates, and you won't need to pay it back.

We've created a table explaining the discount rate for each tariff. Just a couple of things to point out;

• If you pay by Direct Debit, the unit rate includes your 7% discount, which is why the unit rate is lower than the cash/cheque unit rates.

• If you're on our Easy Fix tariff, there is a little more working out. First, we recommend using our EBRS calculator to find your EBRS discount. Once you have this, the QFDC discount is 8.34% of the EBRS discount.
