How and when is the Warm Home Discount paid (I have a non-smart prepayment meter)?

You'll get your £150 rebate from the company who was supplying your electricity on 24 August 2025.

If we supplied your electricity on that date, you'll get a £150 voucher sent out between October 2025 and March 2026. It gets sent by the Post Office® – so look out for a Post Office-marked envelope. The voucher is the letter with a barcode on it – don’t throw it away!

You must redeem your voucher at the Post Office before it expires on 31 July 2026 (you'll get instructions on how to do this, and what ID you'll need to take along to the Post Office with you).

You can ask the Post Office to add your rebate to your electricity key or gas card, or split it between both.
