Why have I not had my Warm Home Discount letter from the government yet (I live in England or Wales)?

The government sends a letter to everyone who is eligible to receive the Core Group 1, Core Group 2 or Core Group Scotland rebate.

The letter arrives between October and December 2025 and tells you if you need to do anything to receive the rebate. 

If you do not get a letter by 31 December 2025, and you think you are eligible, you can call the Warm Home Discount helpline. You'll be able to find this number on the government's Warm Home Discount page at that point.
