The time is wrong on my in-home display – how can I fix it?

It's worth waiting a couple of weeks before you do anything, as this is a problem that often fixes itself.

But if you've had the problem for more than two weeks, it's best to reset your meter.

You won't lose any data by doing the reset, but it can take up to 24 hours for the information about your past energy use to come back.

How to reset your display – when it has a power button:

  1. Hold down the power button at the back of the display until it switches off completely
  2. Wait for one minute
  3. Turn your display back on; it will try to reconnect to your smart meter(s)

How to reset your display – when it doesn't have a power button:

  1. Unplug your display, and remove the batteries (if possible)
  2. Wait for one minute
  3. Put the batteries back in and plug your display back in; it should automatically reconnect to your smart meter(s)
