We can give you the answer for your type of account, once we know what your account number starts with. You can find your account number in MyAccount, and on your EDF bills, emails and letters.

Direct Debit is the cheapest way to pay for your energy, as it gives you the lowest unit rates. That means you'll pay less for the same amount of energy, simply by switching to Direct Debit.
There are two types of Direct Debit to choose from:
1) Budget Direct Debit (regular monthly payments) – you spread your payments evenly over the year
2) Direct Debit Whole Amount (exact monthly payments) – you pay for the exact energy you use each month
