My in-home display doesn't show my balance or energy use – how can I fix it?
It's worth waiting an hour before you do anything, as this is a problem that often fixes itself.
But if it's still not right after an hour, try plugging your in-home display into a socket closer to your electricity meter.
The signal from a meter usually only stretches six to nine meters.
So if your in-home display is too far away, it can't fetch your balance or energy use. Or if the signal is weak, it will get patchy information.
The signal from the meter can also get blocked by a wall or large object. So it's worth moving your in-home display to a different socket, even if it's quite close to your meter at the moment.
