PPMID Revenue Collection TSG: Step 5 – Press ‘Commission’ button

Ensuring ToughPad is connected to the network, press ‘Commission PPMID’ button.

If successful, you’ll see the TXID (Transaction) Success message displayed on ToughPad.

Troubleshooting

There are a few issues you may encounter:

No TXID displayed on ToughPad

  • Check ToughPad connectivity and press 'Commission’. If successful, repeat step 5.
  • If unsuccessful, contact TSS for next steps.
  • If unable to commission, leave the IHD securely at the property, if possible. If not possible to leave securely, then leave a notice with the customer to contact EDF Energy.


Failure message received

  • Contact TSS for next steps.
  • If unable to commission, leave the IHD securely at the property, if possible. If not possible to leave securely, then leave a notice with the customer to contact EDF Energy.
