Gas Credit L&G TSG: Step 2 – Power on Gas Meter

Power on Gas Meter at Gas meter position by pressing button A. If successful, the meter display will power on like this.

Troubleshooting

If there’s no power to the Gas Meter you’ll see a blank display.


Installer actions to rectify this:

  • Change Gas Meter once and repeat step 1.
  • If successful, return initial Gas Meter to pelli-locker. Place the initial gas meter into a completed orange return bag and fill out both sections 1 and 2a. For section k, write 'display / screen fault’. Now proceed to step 3.
  • If this doesn’t work, return both Gas Meters to pelli-locker. Place both gas meters into completed orange return bags and fill out both sections 1 and 2a. For section k, write 'display / screen fault’.
  • Then abort Gas Meter and contact SMETS2 back office commissioning team on 0800 096 5070 to commission PPMID. Ensure all PPMID details are populated on ToughPad.
