I've lost my smart Pay As You Go barcode

Where to find your barcode

We'll send you a letter or email with your barcode when your PAYG account is first set up. You can also find it in your EDF app.

Once you've dowloaded the app, you won't actually need your barcode. You can just use your app to top up.

Still need a new barcode?
Ask us for a new top-up barcode by sending an email to hello@edfenergy.com – please include your account number.


How to top up with your barcode

  1. Take your top-up barcode to your nearest PayPoint retailer (you don't get a top-up card any more)
  2. Buy your credit
  3. Keep your receipt as it gives your Unique Transaction Reference Number (UTRN)
     

How to top up with the app

  1. Tap 'Top up your meter' on the home screen; and confirm your top up amount
  2. Enter your credit or debit card details
  3. Click “Top up now”
