Construction begins on solar farm at Sutton Bridge

Construction is underway on the 49.9 MW Sutton Bridge Solar Farm, EDF Renewables’ first major solar project in the UK which will be capable of generating renewable electricity for more than 9,800 households.

New training centres ready for next phase of construction at Hinkley Point C

The Energy Minister, Greg Hands has opened one of three new training centres to support the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. Together with existing facilities and investment into education and skills, the centres will be ready to help local people join the additional 4,000 workers needed for the next phase of the power station's construction.
