What is a gas safety shut-off valve, and where do I find it?
The gas safety shut-off valve lets you turn off your gas in case of emergency.
It's usually found near your meter – look for a yellow or red handle.
{on image} Your gas is on when the handle is in line with the gas pipe.
{off image) Your gas is off when the handle is at a right-angle with the gas pipe.
