I'd like a new meter – but I don't want a smart meter

We're sorry, but we have very few traditional credit or prepayment meters left. We're only installing them when someone's had a meter exchange letter (see box below), and a smart meter isn't suitable for their home.

If you'd like a new meter, it'll probably have to be a smart meter.

Go to Smart Meters in MyAccount to book your smart meter installation.

Go to Pay As You Go in MyAccount, if you'd like a smart Pay As You Go meter.

Do you have a meter exchange letter? If it's time for a meter exchange, it means your old meter has reached its 'best before' date. It has to be removed and swapped for a new smart meter (unless a smart meter isn't suitable for your home).
