How often should my smart meter send readings?

Setting your smart meter readings to every half an hour gives you the most accurate picture of your energy use.

It helps you spot where you might be able to save energy – and cut your energy bills. It also means you can get information about how you spend your energy around your home in Energy Hub in MyAccount.

But you can also choose to have your meter send readings every day or every month.

Choose your smart meter reading preferences in the Smart meter read preferences area of the 'About Me' section in MyAccount.
