How to fix a log-in problem on the app
We can give you the answer for your type of account, once we know what your account number starts with. You can find your account number in MyAccount, and on your EDF bills, emails and letters.
My account number starts with '67'
I've forgotten my password
Just click 'Forgotten your password' – we'll ask you for your email address and then send you a link to reset your password.
I've forgotten my email address
You can click the link below to find your email address. You'll need your account number, which you'll get from your bills, EDF emails and letters, or contract pack.
Or click 'Forgotten your email' on the app to get an email reminder sent out (you'll need your account number, which you can find in MyAccount and on your EDF emails, letters and bills).
I've just changed my email address
If you've asked us to change your email address, we'll have sent you an email with a link to verify your new address.
If you don't click on the link to verify your email address within 48 hours, you'll need to log in to MyAccount with your old email – then go to About me to ask us change your email again.
Once you've verified your new email, you won't be able to log in with your old email address.
