How do I pay for my energy?

Your MyAccount homepage will tell you how you pay for your energy. It'll be one of these options:

Budget Direct Debit (Monthly): Pay your bills automatically – payments come straight out your bank every month; you spread your payments evenly over the year

Direct Debit Whole Amount: Pay your bills automatically – payments come straight out your bank every month or every three months; you pay for the exact amount of energy you use each month

Card, cash or cheque: Get a bill every month or every three months – and make a payment within 14 days

Smart Pay As You Go: Pay for your energy up front via our app, online, phone or in store; choose when and how much to add to your smart meter each time

Prepayment (not smart): Pay for your energy up front in store; choose when and how much to add to your traditional prepayment meter each time
