Direct Debit: how to set it up
We can give you the answer for your type of account, once we know what your account number starts with. You can find your account number in MyAccount, and on your EDF bills, emails and letters.
My account number starts with '67'
It's simple to set up Direct Debit online: all you need is your bank account details. There are a few different ways to set it up:
- You can choose to pay by Direct Debit when you when you first switch to EDF
- You can choose to pay by Direct Debit any time you change tariff in MyAccount
- You can go to 'Payment method change' in MyAccount at any time to change the way you pay
