Add smart PAYG credit manually with a UTRN – through your in-home display
Your credit normally gets added to your meter within about an hour of topping up.
Can't wait that long, or it's been more than an hour? You can add your credit manually by entering your Unique Transaction Record Number (UTRN) into your in-home display.
You'll find full instructions in your in-home display's user manual.
But generally, you'll want to look for someting like 'top-ups' or 'apply top-codes' in your dispay's menu. You'll then need to choose electricity or gas, and enter each digit of the UTRN.
