How can I pay my bill?

Direct Debit

The easiest and cheapest way to pay is by Direct Debit. We're not quite ready to set up Direct Debits on the app, but we're working on it. In the meantime, you can set up your Direct Debit on the EDF website, in MyAccount. Just enter your bank or building society account number and sort code, and the date on which you want your Direct Debit to be paid each month. If you've got questions about setting up your Direct Debit please message us.

Card payments

You can add a debit or credit card to your account here on the app, and you can use it to pay your bills.

Other ways to pay

You can pay with a bank card by phone or on the EDF website. You can pay by cash at your bank. You can also pay with cash, use your EDF Energycard and charge your electricity key or gas cards at Post Offices and Payzone and PayPoint outlets. You can pay by cheque in your bank, by post and in larger Post Offices. You can also set up a prepayment meter to help manage payments. Find out more on our website or message us.
