#FillYourPlate Prize Draw

The Prize Draw is provided and promoted by EDF Energy Customers Limited, Nova North, 11 Bressenden Place, Victoria, London, SW1E 5BY (Company Number: 02228297). 

Entry into the Prize Draw signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Prize draw timeline

1.1 The Prize Draw opens at 09:00 on Sunday 08 March 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 29 March 2026 (the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date”).

1.2 All entries relating to the Prize Draw (the “Entries”) must be received by the Promoter on its official EDF Retail Social Media channels on Instagram (@edfenergy); Facebook (@EDF); X (@edfenergy) and Bluesky (@edfenergy.com) by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All Entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

1.3 To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must:

a. Publicly post a photograph or video of your own plate of food on Instagram, Facebook, X, or Bluesky

b. Tag EDF in your post, alongside hashtags ‘#FillYourPlate’ 

c. Please ensure your privacy settings allow our accounts to see your Entry.  

1.4 There is no purchase necessary to enter the Prize Draw.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Prize Draw is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the date of the Prize Draw who have submitted an Entry picture or video of their own plate of food (original work only);

The Prize Draw is not open to:

a.) Employees or agents of the Promoter or its subsidiaries (including EDF Power Solutions, EDF Trading, EDF Heat Pumps, Contact Solar and Pod); 

b.) Anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Prize Draw;

c.) Immediate family members or household members of the above. 

2.2 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw. The Promoter will not accept Entries that are generated by a computer (including AI), illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with, not originals, incomplete, offensive, crude or disparaging about the Prize Draw, EDF or another individual or company.

2.3 One entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person or joint submissions are not allowed. 

2.4 The Promoter may require proof of eligibility.

3. The Prizes

• There are five (5) Prizes available.
• Each winner will receive one (1) Ninja 6-in-1 Dual Zone Air Fryer 7.6L (“the Prize”).
• The Prize is not negotiable, transferable, or exchangeable for cash.
• Prizes are subject to availability, and the Promoter may substitute an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.

4. Winner selection

4.1 Five winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries using a random number generator.

4.2 No individual may win more than one Prize.

4.3 Winners will be removed from subsequent selection rounds.

5. Notifying winners

5.1 Winners will be notified within 25 working days of the closing date by direct message on the same social media platform used for entry.

5.2 Winners must respond within 20 working days to accept the Prize; otherwise, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternate eligible entrant.

6. Prize delivery and timing

6.1 Prizes will be delivered to the winner’s UK home address, which the winner must provide to EDF by direct message or email.

6.2 The winner must coordinate with EDF for delivery and delivery date

6.3 The winner must either be home to receive their prize, or arrange a secure delivery location, if unable to be at their residence at time of delivery

6.4 Please allow up to 30 working days following Prize acceptance for delivery.

7. Delivery conditions

7.1 Prizes cannot be claimed or received by third parties

7.2 Winners must provide an accurate delivery address.

7.3 EDF is not liable for delays caused by couriers or events outside its control.

7.4 If delivery cannot be completed after reasonable attempts, EDF may withdraw the Prize and re‑award it to another eligible entrant

8. Post‑Prize participation requirement

8.1 By accepting the Prize, winners agree to:

a.) Be contacted by EDF in the future to discuss their experience using their Prize;

b.) Provide a follow‑up photograph or video of food they have cooked using the Prize;

c.) Permit EDF to use this follow‑up photo and any accompanying comments for marketing or promotional purposes, in line with the IP and publicity terms below.

8.2 Failure to reasonably participate may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

9. Intellectual property

9.1 Any intellectual property rights arising in, generated from or associated with the submission of an Entry (“Entry IP”) shall be vested in the Promoter.

9.2 By submitting an Entry, where applicable the entrant warrants that: 

a.) All materials submitted in the Entry are original and the entrant’s own work; 

b.) It is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights subsisting in the Entry (including supporting materials); 

c.) It has full authority to enter this Prize Draw; 

d.) the use or exploitation of the submitted information and/or materials will not infringe any rights of any third party; and 

e.) It shall immediately inform the Promoter if it becomes aware of any such infringement.

9.3 By submitting the Entry, in consideration of the benefits of participation, the entrant hereby grants to the Promoter and exclusive, royalty-free, sole worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store and/or re-format the Entry, including the idea, and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter for any purpose, including in connection with any publicity of the Prize Draw. The entrant undertakes not to grant to any third party any other licence or rights in respect of the Entry, idea or submitted material.  

9.4 In consideration of the Prize, each entrant agrees that it shall:

a.) Assign to the Promoter, with full title guarantee, all intellectual property rights in the submitted Entry (including the idea, and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter) to which the entrant may now or at any time in the future be entitled, including under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world; and  

b.) Waive all moral rights in the submission.  

9.5 Such assignment and waiver shall be effective as at the date of submitting the Entry.  

10. Data protection and publicity 

10.1 By entering the Prize Draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you in relation to the Entry may be held and used by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the Prize Draw in accordance with our Customers Privacy Policy here: www.edfenergy.com/yourprivacy.  

10.2 If you are a winner of the Prize Draw, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, entry image/video, follow up image/video, town or county of residence to announce the winner of this Prize Draw and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

10.3 You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize.

11. Disqualification

EDF reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions, or which appears contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw. 

12. Data protection

Personal data will be handled according to EDF’s Customer Privacy Policy. 

13. Limitation of liability

13.1 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for Entries that are lost/damaged or delayed, regardless of cause, including for example as a result of any postal or equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server or any computer hardware or software failure of any kind, nor will it accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of Entry into the Prize Draw.

13.2 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

14. General

14.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entry which does not fully comply with these Rules or if the entrant’s conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.

14.2 The Promoter may cancel this Prize Draw at any time, and/or may amend the terms of the Prize Draw. Any withdrawal of or changes to the Prize Draw shall be published on the Promoter’s website and announced on the official EDF Retail Social Media channels.  

14.3 If these Rules or any part of them should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then to the extent that they are so illegal, invalid or unenforceable, they shall in that state or country be treated as severed and deleted from these Rules and the remaining Rules shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

14.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14.5 Please do not enter this Prize Draw if any of these provisions are unacceptable.
