Heating cover

What's included?

  • Repairs for your boiler, heating controls and central heating system
  • An annual service to help maintain your boiler and heating equipment
  • A replacement boiler up to £750 if required (installation costs not included)
     

What's not included?

  • Work arising from sludge or hard water scale deposits in the heating system
  • Work on non-standard, inaccessible or non-visual pipework
Plumber

Plumbing and drains cover

What's included?

  • Up to £1,000 per claim for repairs to your plumbing and drainage system, including overflow pipes, drainage pipes and internal wall supply pipes
     

What's not included?

  • Any plumbing or drains situated within the walls, floors, concrete or underground (including the underground pipes to your home)
  • Root ingression, heave/subsidence and joint slippage
  • Work on non-standard, inaccessible or non-visual pipework
  • Costs for shared plumbing or drains in communal areas
Electrician

Wiring cover

What's included?

  • Up to £1,000 per claim for repairs to your electrical wiring, including internal wall sockets, switches, fuse boxes, circuit breakers and transformers
     

What's not included?

  • Any electrical wiring situated within the walls, floors, concrete or underground 
  • Replacing the consumer unit or fully re-wiring your property
  • Electrical wiring that hasn't been properly installed, repaired or altered or doesn't meet current standards, legislation or health and safety guidelines (such as BS 7671 2008 and IEC 60446. Please see the full T&C's for more details)
  • Costs for shared wiring in communal areas
Pest controller

Pest infestation cover

What's included?

  • Up to £1,000 per claim for the effective removal or treatment of unwanted pests, such as rats, mice or wasp and hornet nests in your home 
     

What's not included?

  • The removal of bees or beehives
  • Any pest infestation where you haven't taken reasonable measures previously recommended by us to prevent continued or further infestation
  • Any damage caused when removing pest infestations
  • Costs for pest infestations in communal areas
Locksmith

Lockout and security cover

What's included?

  • Up to £1,000 per claim for emergency access to your home if you're locked out because the only available key is lost, damaged or inaccessible 
  • Up to £1,000 per claim for temporary repairs to secure your home if the external windows/doors are damaged because of a break-in or vandalism
     

What's not included?

  • More than one set of keys, where your lock has been replaced
  • Any theft, vandalism or malicious damage to your doors, windows or lock where you haven't reported the loss or damage to the police and haven't obtained a police crime number

What's included?

  • Up to £1,000 per claim for temporary repairs to protect your home in the event of damaged roof tiles
     

What's not included?

  • Flat, glass, plastic, tarpaulin, felt or thatched roofs
  • Costs for roof tiles in communal areas
