Tough challenge for Hunterston B charity team

A team of workers from Hunterston B power station have raised thousands of pounds for a local hospice in memory of a much-loved colleague.

A group of ten from ‘C’ shift took part in the Tough Mudder challenge in Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, and raised £3679 for the Ayrshire Hospice.

Fairy trail magic for Torness visitors

The fairies have been weaving their magic over the Torness visitor centre as record numbers have flocked to the station during the summer holidays.

More than 600 children and their families have made their way to the EDF Energy power station to check out the centre’s Fairy Trail.

Junior football team bags Torness sponsorship

A junior football team in the Borders have been able to add to their kit list thanks to a donation from Torness power station.

Chirnside Juniors were given £300 sponsorship by the EDF Energy station. The team used the money to buy new personalised club boot bags to complete their kit.
