Get your small business energy account in order
We believe that managing your energy should be easy. We want our business customers to feel in control of their consumption and spend. Last year we surveyed over 1100 small business – saving time and money was a constant theme. That’s why we've pulled together some top tips to help you do just that.
Save time & money on your business energy account with these simple steps:
Put in a calendar reminder for your renewal date
Your tariff renewal deserves a calendar reminder. When your fixed tariff ends this can impact your business overheads. Depending on wholesale prices, your energy tariff unit rates can go up or down. For some small businesses, especially those who locked into a cheaper tariff before the energy crisis, a tariff renewal can have significant impact on your overheads. To be prepared, put a calendar reminder into your diary 180 days before your contract ends, that way you can explore tariffs at that time to help you plan ahead.
You can find your tariff type and contract end date on your most recent invoice, take a look in MyAccount or search your inbox for hellobusiness@edfenergy.com if your preference is to receive your invoice by email.
