New perks at your fingertips 📱
We've tapped into the built-in features of your phone to bring you two new handy updates. If you're a Pay As You Go customer, you can now add a payment barcode straight to your digital wallet. Meaning you can pay in seconds. Plus, iPhone users can add an EDF widget to their home screen to see their balance at a glance – no app-opening needed!
Set up Direct Debit in a few taps 🔨
You can now set up a Fixed Direct Debit in MyAccount – no need to call us. It's a quicker, easier way to set up monthly payments and stay in control of your energy bills. The feature’s live in the app now and coming to the website soon – just another way we're making energy simpler for you.
Helping you stay on track 👍
Our new Balance Forecasting Tool makes it easy for Direct Debit customers to see if payments are on track. Using a simple traffic light system, it shows how your energy account's doing to help you stay in control. You can adjust your payments if needed, and a handy graph shows how your usage and payments line up over time. It's a simple way to help you stay in control of your energy account.
Smart meter check-up 🔍
Our new Smart Meter Health feature in MyAccount shows if everything's working as it should, so you can get all your EDF benefits like Energy Hub and Sunday Saver. If something's not quite right, we'll flag it and help you know what the next steps are – simple, clear, and super helpful.
Watt's using what? 🤔
Energy Hub for smart customers just got even better! If you've already signed up for My Breakdown on the web, you can now see all your detailed energy insights in our app. Not signed up yet? No worries – register in the EDF app and start seeing how your energy use breaks down week by week. Stay informed and in control, wherever you are.
