Important updates for large business customers following the government launch of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS).

Energy Bills Discount Scheme

The government has announced the latest scheme to support businesses with the cost of energy bills. The Energy Bills Discount Scheme will be effective from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.

For more information on the scheme visit our dedicated page or the government website.

Government guidance

We'll endeavour to keep our information as up-to-date and relevant as possible. However, if you're looking for the latest government guidance and announcements, we advise you to please visit the gov.uk website.

Keeping you up-to-date

With the introduction of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme in September 2022, businesses have had to quickly get to grips with the basics of the scheme to understand what support is available for their energy bills, how to access it and plan accordingly.

Teams across EDF have mobilised quickly and efficiently to make sure that information is made available for our business customers.

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) continues to provide useful updates on the scheme and it's roll out. To keep up-to-date with the scheme, and how the EDF Business Solutions team plans to manage this for business customers, please take a look at the information below.

This FAQ document is for business energy users.
