We offer you a variety of ways to pay your business energy bills, so you can choose the one that best suits your business. See our payment options below.

You can pay by debit or credit card instantly and securely online with MyAccount.

Our secure, web-based service gives you everything you need to manage your account in one place, from leaving a meter reading to arranging paperless billing.

Please make sure to write your account number on the back of the cheque and allow 3 working days for the payment to reach your EDF Energy account.

Use PayPoint finder to locate your nearest outlet. Please allow 2 working days for your payment to reach your EDF Energy account.

You can pay by cash, or make your cheque payable to Post Office Ltd. Make sure to write your EDF Energy account number on the back of it.

Credit on your account?

You may find that your EDF Energy account is in credit as you've consumed less business energy than we've estimated once billed. You can simply request any credit owned back in a few steps online.

Most business customers pay by Budget Direct Debit as they'll receive 7% discount of every bill. To help we've put together a list of questions and anwsers to help. 

Having difficulty paying your bill?

If you’re having difficulty paying your bill, please let us know. We'll work with you to find the best solution, such as setting up a Direct Debit, considering other energy tariffs, or setting up an affordable payment plan.

Calling us sooner rather than later will help us tackle any issues early on. If your bill is not paid by the Due Date, you may be charged late payment interest at 4% above the Bank of England rate on the amount you owe. You’ll also be charged an administration fee of up to £30 per bill.

  • Reducing your workload through less admin with no cheques to write
  • Avoiding late payment interest charges as bills are paid on time
  • Some tariffs are eligible for a
    7% discount if you pay monthly by Direct Debit(2)
