EDF Energy has teamed up with Europ Assistance* to create the Boiler Care Plan – great value insurance cover to help you avoid the physical discomfort, inconvenience and unexpected cost associated with boiler breakdowns.

Boiler Care Plan gives you:

  • Insurance cover of up to £1,500 a year, including parts, labour and VAT
  • 12 months emergency breakdown cover
  • Access to a 24 hour helpline, 365 days a year
  • Contribution towards a new boiler if required
  • All parts guaranteed for 12 months
  • Repair work carried out by Gas Safe Register engineers.

Choose the cover and cost that’s right for you:

  • Boiler Care Plan
    Pay 12 monthly instalments of just £11.25
  • Boiler Care Plan Plus
    Pay 12 monthly instalments of £16.50 for cover that includes a full annual service safety inspection

The Boiler Care Plan covers the following:


  • Single insured boiler with standard components
  • Room thermostat and time control
  • Radiators and radiator valves
  • Expansion tank
  • Motorised/selector valves
  • Single water circulating pump
  • Single hot water cylinder
  • Labour charges

 

If you opt for the Boiler Care Plus option you will also be entitled to a full annual service of your boiler system as well as all the above.
