EDF (Small Business) - Enterprise Nation LTD Partnership Referral Terms and Conditions 

The Offer

  1. The following terms and expressions apply to these terms and conditions:

EDF’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘ourrefers to EDF Energy Customers Limited trading as EDF a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02228297 and whose registered office is at Nova North, 11 Bressenden Place, Victoria, London, SW1E 5BY
Small Business

has the meaning ascribed to it by Ofgem as either;

  • a business with fewer than 50 employees, or their full-time equivalent with either:

    • an annual turnover of at most £6.5 million; or 
    • a balance sheet total of not more than £5.0 million;

    or

  • a business that uses no more than: 
    • 200,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year; or
    • 500,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of gas per year.

 

2. These terms and conditions are applicable to Small Business customers (‘you’ or the ‘customer’) who quote a code over the phone or online received from the Referrer, or use a hyperlink received from the Referrer to transfer their Small Business gas or electricity supply, or dual fuel supply, to an Eligible Tariff with us, which could entitle you to the Reward in accordance with the rest of these terms and conditions (the ‘Offer’).

3. By taking part in this Offer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. These terms and conditions are for the Offer only and are separate and supplemental to any other terms and conditions that you may have with EDF and will not affect the existing rights and obligations under those terms.

5. The Offer is effective from the start of the Claim Period until the earlier of the end of the Claim Period or where the number of Rewards we have awarded under this Offer has reached the Cap. We also reserve the right to close the Offer at any time.

Selection

6. Rewards will be awarded by us, up to the Cap, on a first-come first-served basis, in the order of the Small Business Customers who meet the eligibility criteria of Clause 10 below and quote the Referrer’s code over the phone or online or the Referrer’s hyperlink to successfully sign up to an Eligible Tariff during the Claim Period and have successfully registered their meter point(s) with EDF.

7. The value or substance of the Reward is subject to change at any time. The current Reward is displayed in Clause 1 above. The Reward cannot be withdrawn as cash and we will not provide any alternative formats. The Reward cannot be transferred to any other person or supply account. 

8. If you are awarded a Reward by us in accordance with Clause 6, you will receive the Reward to the email address you have registered on your EDF Small Business account. The Reward will not be sent if the eligibility criteria of Clause 10 below are not met.

9. All Rewards must be validated by us before they can be issued. Rewards will usually be paid within 60 days of your meter point(s) being registered to EDF, but this may be subject to change. 

Eligibility

10: To be eligible to take part in this promotion and receive the Reward under this Offer you must:

a. at all times comply with these terms and conditions;

b. be aged 18 or over;

c. reside in Great Britain (the Offer is not available in Northern Ireland);

d. not already receive a supply of gas and electricity as a Small Business customer of EDF; 

e. have a non-half hourly business meter;

f. pay for your supply account(s) under the Eligible Tariff by Direct Debit;

g. successfully register your meter point(s) with EDF;

h. be the named account holder of the gas and electricity account for a Small Business that the Reward is to be awarded to; 

i. be a customer or member of the Referrer;

j. not have received or redeemed any other offer linked to this Reward or Eligible Tariff within the previous 12 months from the start date of the Eligible Tariff; and

k. quote the code ‘EN-EDF’ over the phone or online or use the hyperlink (with cookies enabled) provided by the Referrer to you when signing up to the Eligible Tariff.

11. If at any point you do not meet the eligibility criteria in Clause 10 above prior to when we transfer the Reward to you, you must immediately notify EDF and you will automatically no longer be entitled to the Reward.

12. EDF is under no obligation to award the Reward to any customer who in EDF’s sole discretion does not meet the eligibility criteria under Clause 10 or does not comply with these terms and conditions.

General

13. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer from EDF.

14. You are only entitled to receive one Reward under this Offer per year, irrespective of whether you sign up to an Eligible Tariff for both gas and electricity or for one fuel type. If you sign-up for an additional Eligible Tariff you will not receive an additional Reward.

15. The Offer is exclusive to Small Business customers who access the sign-up journey via the Referrer’s website and is not available to customers who choose to sign-up to an Eligible Tariff through any other third party website, or directly through EDF’s website. 

16. If you choose to switch or cancel your Eligible Tariff during the fixed contract period, early exit fees may apply and you may no longer be eligible for the Offer. Please refer to your tariff's Terms and Information Leaflet (TIL) for full details. 

17. EDF reserves the right to end, extend, revoke, amend or replace all or part of the Offer and any of the terms and conditions contained herein, including but not limited to the applicable Eligible Tariff, Claim Period and Cap, or where it must comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body, with immediate effect and shall not be held liable for doing so. The latest version of these terms will be available on the Referrer’s website and EDFs website.

18. By registering your interest in this Offer, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. If any information you provide is found to be fraudulent or incorrectly completed or if EDF has reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these terms and conditions, you will automatically no longer be eligible and EDF may withdraw or reclaim any Reward that has been awarded to you. 

19. EDF is not liable to you for any loss you incur howsoever caused, including but not limited to any losses which arise from any technological or procedural omission, failure or error and/or any action, inaction or delay by EDF, the Referrer, the party that provides the Reward or any other third party or event beyond direct control to which EDF may rely upon in order to provide the Offer to you. 

20. By registering your interest in this Offer and thereby accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read and understood EDF’s privacy policy which shall apply to the processing of your personal data in connection with the Offer. 21. Each of these terms shall be a separate provision applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of the said provision is held inapplicable or unreasonable in any circumstances. Section headings shall not affect the meaning of the terms.

22. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or its subject matter or formation.

We will not respond to queries about non receipt of Rewards unless it has not been awarded more than 60 days from the date that you make your meter point(s) are registered to EDF.

24. You hereby acknowledge and agree that once the Reward has been emailed to you, EDF are not responsible for any inability to use or redeem the Reward and that any issue or complaint you may have regarding the Reward will need to be directed to the Reward provider.
