Smart Meter Installation Code of Practice
In March 2011, the UK government told energy suppliers to develop and follow a licence-backed code of practice governing the installation of smart meters. The Smart Meter Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP) was approved by Ofgem in April 2013.
The main objectives of the Smart Meter Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP) are:
