EV spring tariff £50 Credit Offer ("the offer")

Terms and Conditions 

The Offer is provided by EDF Energy Customers Limited (“EDF”), a company registered in England & Wales with company number 02228297, having its registered address at Nova North, 11 Bressenden Place, Victoria, London, SW1E 5BY. Entry into the Offer signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
 

Promotional Period: 

This promotion is available from 00:00 am on 20 April 2026 to 23:59 pm on 24 May 2026. 


Eligibility: 

This offer is open to new and existing residential EDF customers in the UK. 

To be eligible for the Offer, you must sign up for one of EDF’s eligible EV tariffs, as outlined below, during the Promotional Period. Anyone who signs up after the end of the Promotional Period will not be eligible for the £50 account credit (the “Credit”).

All eligible EV tariffs require you to have a smart meter installed and to opt in to half-hourly meter readings. 
 

Existing EDF customers
For GoElectric and Pod Point Plug & Power: Existing customers can sign up directly for an EV tariff using our online quoting tool

New customers

New customers can sign up here and should: 

  • Choose an EV tariff from the options provided 

  • Note that once your supply is live, you'll initially be transferred onto EDF's Standard Variable tariff 

  • Once your smart meter’s connected to our systems, you'll be automatically transferred to the EV tariff you chose

Existing EDF customers

For Pod Power: Existing customers can sign up directly for an EV tariff using our online quoting tool

New customers

New customers can sign up here  

  • Note that once your supply is live, you'll initially be transferred onto EDF's Standard Variable tariff

  • Once your smart meter’s connected to our systems, you'll be automatically transferred to Pod Power 

There is a limit of one sign-up per household.  


Exclusions: 

  • EDF business and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) customers are not eligible for this Offer

  • Customers who cancel or switch away from EDF before the Credit is applied will not be eligible
     

Eligible EV Tariffs 

For the purposes of this Offer, the eligible EV tariffs are as follows: 

  • GoElectric; 

  • Pod Power

The Credit: 

  • For existing customers: The credit will be applied to your EDF account within 30 days of your new EV tariff going live

  • For new customers: The credit will be applied to your EDF account within 30 days of your EV tariff going live

  • EDF reserves the right to delay this Credit for reasons outside of our control, such as technical issues or third-party errors

  • Only one Credit will be applied per customer account, regardless of the number of EV tariffs

  • The Credit is not negotiable, transferable, or exchangeable for a cash payment

  • EDF will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delay in applying the Credit. EDF reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to withdraw the Offer at any time

  • EDF may end this Offer at any time, amend these Terms and Conditions, or change the Credit, and any such amendment or change will be published on EDF’s website
     

Exit Fees and Cancellations: 

If you choose to switch or cancel your EV tariff during the fixed contract period, early exit fees may apply. Please refer to the tariff's Terms and Information Leaflet (TIL) for full details.
 

Data Protection: 

By signing up for an EV tariff and participating in this Offer, you consent to EDF processing your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. 

Customers signing up for the Pod Point Plug & Power tariff agree to share their contact details with EDF’s charge point partner, Pod, for charger payment and installation arrangements.
 

General: 

  • EDF is not liable to you for any loss that is incurred by participation in this Offer, including but not limited to any losses which arise from any technological or procedural omission, failures, or errors and/or any action or inaction by EDF or event beyond direct control on which EDF may rely upon in order to provide the Credit to you

  • EDF reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Offer at any time without prior notice

  • Any changes to these terms will be communicated on the EDF website 

  • EDF reserves the right to remove any sign-up that does not fully comply with these Terms and Conditions or if the sign-up is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Offer 

  • Each of these terms shall be a separate provision applying and surviving even if, for any reason, one or other of the said provisions is held inapplicable or unreasonable in any circumstances

  • Please do not sign up for this Offer if any of these provisions are unacceptable. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
