The government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) offers funding to support the uptake of plug-in vehicles and EV chargepoint infrastructure across the UK.

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)
Who it's for:
Businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
What's on offer:
Grants for up to 75% off the cost of buying and installing workplace EV chargers, up to a maximum of:
- £350 per socket
- 40 sockets in total across all sites.
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) for State-Funded Institutions
Who it's for:
State-funded colleges, schools and nurseries
What's on offer:
Grants for up to 75% off the costs of buying and installing EV chargers, capped at:
- £2500 per charger
- 40 sockets across all sites (Academy trusts can apply for up to 40 for each institution within the trust)
