EDF - Simply Business (Small Business) Terms and Conditions
‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’ refers to EDF Energy Customers Limited (“EDF”), a company registered in England and Wales with company registered number 02228297 and whose registered office is at Nova North, 11 Bressenden Place, London, England, SW1E 5BY.
“Small Business” has the meaning ascribed to it by Ofgem as either;
- a business with fewer than 50 employees, or their full-time equivalent with either:
- an annual turnover of at most £6.5 million; or
- a balance sheet total of not more than £5.0 million;
or
- a business that uses no more than:
- 200,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year; or
- 500,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of gas per year.
The Offer
1. The offer is available to 1000 Eligible Customers only and consists of a £150 Amazon (the “Offer”). The Offer is available to Eligible Customers who sign up to EDF’s “Fixed Online 1 Year”, “Fixed Online 2 Year”, “Fixed Online 3 Year” or "Fixed Online 4 Year" tariff (“Tariff”) via the Simply Business website, and will be sent to the email address registered on the Eligible Customers EDF supply account once their supply meter(s) has been properly registered to EDF and is live on supply (“Sent Date”).
2. The Offer is facilitated by Xbridge Limited (“Simply Business”), with company number 03967717 and registered office at 4th Floor Hylo, 105 Bunhill Row, London, United Kingdom, EC1Y 8LZ who will provide each Customer with a promotional code that must be quoted by the Customer to EDF to be eligible to redeem the Offer (“the Code”).
3. By registering your interest in this Offer, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions (“you”, “the Customer”).
4. These terms and conditions are separate and supplemental to any other terms and conditions that you may have with EDF and will not affect the existing rights and obligations under those terms.
Eligibility
5. To be eligible for the Offer (“Eligible”), you must:
- at all times comply with these terms and conditions;
- be aged 18 or over;
- reside in Great Britain (the Offer is not available in Northern Ireland);
- not already receive a supply of gas and electricity as a Small Business customer of EDF;
- have a non-half hourly business meter;
- pay for your supply account(s) under the Tariff by direct debit;
- be the named account holder of the gas and electricity account that the Offer is to be awarded to;
- not have received or redeemed any other offer linked to this Offer or Tariff within the previous 12 months from the start date of the Tariff; and
- meet all the Participation provisions at Clause 8 before the Sent Date.
6. If at any point you are no longer Eligible prior to the Sent Date, you must immediately notify EDF and you will automatically no longer be entitled to the Offer.
7. EDF are under no obligation to award the Offer to any Eligible Customer who in its sole discretion becomes ineligible at any point prior to the Sent Date.
Participation
8. To be Eligible for the Offer, you must:
8.1 access the sign-up journey by clicking the promotional tile shown on Simply Business website (https://www.simplybusiness.co.uk/support/customer-benefits/) and either;
8.1.1 continue the sign-up journey on EDF’s website (https://www.edfenergy.com/sme-business/edf-simply-business-small-business) and accept or enable the use of ‘All Cookies’ when redirected to EDFs website (https://www.edfenergy.com/offers/edf-simply-business-residential); or
8.1.2 continue the sign-up journey by calling EDF’s telesales team on 0333 188 6725; and quote the code that was obtained from the Simply Business website (https://www.simplybusiness.co.uk/support/customer-benefits/); and
8.2 sign up to the Tariff between 06 October 2025 to 06 February 2026 inclusive (the “Claim Period”); and
8.3 have a registered EDF supply account under the Tariff at the Sent Date.
9. Subject to Clauses 5 and 8, the Offer will be sent by EDF to the email address registered on your supply account on the Sent Date with the email header “EDF Simply Business Amazon Voucher”.
Selection
10. Offers will be awarded by EDF to the first 1000 Eligible Customers and will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis in order of the Eligible Customers who have successfully signed up to the Tariff during the Claim Period.
General
11. The Offer is available until the earlier of the end of the Claim Period or where 1000 Offers have been awarded to Eligible Customers.
12. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
13. The Eligible Customer is entitled to one Offer per year, irrespective of them signing up to the Tariff for gas and electricity, or for one fuel type. For the avoidance of doubt:
- where an Eligible Customer elects to sign up to the Tariff for both their gas and electricity supply, they are eligible to receive one £150 Amazon voucher; or
- where an Eligible Customer elects to sign up to the Tariff for either their gas or electricity supply, they are eligible to receive one £150 Amazon voucher and will not be eligible to receive a second Offer should they choose to sign up to the Tariff for the other fuel type within the 12-month period following the start date of the previously agreed Tariff.
16. All transactions must be validated by EDF before Offers can be issued and we shall endeavour to apply the Offer within 60 days from the date that your supply meter has been properly registered to EDF and is live on supply.
17. If you choose to switch or cancel your Tariff during the fixed contract period, early exit fees may apply and you will no longer be Eligible for the Offer. Please refer to your tariff's Terms and Information Leaflet (TIL) for full details.
18. Notwithstanding Clause 11, EDF reserves the right to end, extend, revoke, amend or replace all or part of the Offer and any of the terms and conditions contained herein, including but not limited to the applicable tariffs, Claim Period and number of Eligible Customers, or where it must comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body, with immediate effect and shall not be held liable for doing so. The latest version of these terms will be available on the Simply Business website and EDFs website.
19. By registering your interest in this Offer, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. If any information you provide is found to be fraudulent or incorrectly completed or if EDF have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these terms and conditions, you will automatically no longer be Eligible and EDF may withdraw or reclaim any Offer that has been awarded to you.
20. EDF are not liable to you for any loss you incur howsoever caused, including but not limited to any losses which arise from any technological or procedural omission, failure or error and/or any action, inaction or delay by EDF, Simply Business, Amazon or any other third party or event beyond direct control to which EDF may rely upon in order to provide the Offer to you.
21. By registering your interest in this Offer and thereby accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read and understood EDF’s privacy policy which shall apply to the processing of your personal data in connection with the Offer.
22. Each of these terms shall be a separate provision applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of the said provision is held inapplicable or unreasonable in any circumstances.
23. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or its subject matter or formation.

We will not respond to queries about non receipt of Offers unless it has not been redeemed more than 60 days from the date that your supply meter has been properly registered to EDF and is live on supply.
25. You hereby acknowledge and agree that once the Offer has been emailed to you, EDF are not responsible for any inability to use or redeem the Offer and that any issue or complaint you may have regarding the Amazon voucher will need to be directed to Amazon.
