Your Warm Homes Local Grant application

Apply for your Warm Homes Local Grant to get free energy-saving home improvements, like insulation and low-carbon heating. 
 

Funding is limited – apply as soon as you can
It may take a few months for us to process your application due to the popularity of the scheme.

Who can apply through EDF?

You must have either:

  • A household income of £36,000 a year or less
  • Someone in your household getting certain benefits
  • A postcode that gets funding no matter what earnings or benefits you get

Your home must also:

  • Be in England – and in a council that we're working with (your postcode will tell us this)
  • Be owned by you – or privately rented (private landlords can also apply)
  • Have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G if you own your home – or D or E if the property is rented

If your application is successful, we'll pass your details to one of our trusted installation partners. They will then contact you to arrange your home improvements.
